Agency Support
The Hurstbridge Hub
The Hurstbridge Hub in Graysharpes Road Hurstbridge has provided a local point of assistance for people needing access to a range of government services since mid- 2009.
Nillumbik Shire Council, with financial assistance from the Department of Human Services, has recognised the long term need for community support services by ensuring that the Hurstbridge hub will remain open until at least March 2011.
Centrelink and DHS services are no longer provided from the hub, but Council staff are present and can provide referrals to these and other agencies. The Hub will remain a focus for the Shire's bushfire recovery work with our community.

Strategic Business Support is available from Darryl Brook by appointment - please book on 0433 948 258.
Anyone involved in rebuilding or community recovery work will be able to access internet and photocopying from the Hub. This is a limited service, but a few computers should be available for use. Plans for the future include having a social worker available to provide assistance on specified days. Your feedback as to what you need at the Hub would be very welcome - call (03) 9433 3721.
